Retail stores have the ability to grow a large following by giving specials and events. With a large following, whether it be email subscribers or a social following, you always have the opportunity to send out coupons and special sales. In some instances it’s even viable to offer a subscribers only deal.
Keep in mind the campaigns are incentive based for your customers. You need something to give away as incentive that makes your current following want to share your campaign with their following. You have to give a little to gain a lot.
For a retail store incentives can be something along the lines of coupons, 50% off, buy 1 get 1 free, etc.
